maxSHELL®


With the maxSHELL® process, developed by KED®, the outer shell is irreversibly bonded to the EPS inner shell in a second working stage. The composite reacts is much more flexible under pressure than inmold helmets.

The advantages:


- Allows maximum coverage of the EPS inner shell
- More attractive, brighter effects and innovative matt-glossy textures on the outer shell due to production in the maxSHELL® process
- Perfect processing with precise and accurate edge transitions due to the subsequent attachment of the robot-cut outer shell
- Larger downshell area for improved protection and durability in tough everyday use

    Test results confirm the excellent comfort and optimum fit of KED® helmets in international comparison again and again. For an individual fit, KED® has developed an intelligent adjustment system which convinces with its simple use.

  • Active visibility


    Active illuminated flashing LEDs can be seen better than reflectors. Each QUICKSAFE® and QUICKSAFE TRONIC® adjustment system has 4 long-distance highly visible LEDs (all models supplier with an additional rear reflector from 2011).

  • QUICKSAFE TRONIC®


    With the QUICKSAFE TRONIC®, KED® has developed the first fully automatic adjustment system. The size is adjusted at the push of a button. The head ring can be adjusted from a minimum to a maximum up to 500 times. Then the batteries can be charged using an integrated charger without changing the batteries.
